08 Tactical Response Unit Applications - OPEN

All hands,

Applications for 08 Tactical Response Unit Training Pipeline are open. For a complete rundown of the duties, polices and procedures of the unit, refer to the following document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ksCDLxZMwITVCysjQmM0HdcsidJMD2zZpCPpFOxSDRo/edit?usp=sharing

Reason for application (300 Words):

The primary reason why I am considering an application for the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) of the San Andreas State Police is because I wan't to become something more than just a patrol officer.

In my mind, a member of the TRU would have to be an individual who is calm under stressful situations, able to lead a team, as well as a positive contributor to society. The ability to stay calm under stressful situations is key to success in the TRU because without it, you are a nervous wreck which can lead to being inaccurate in important decisions. The ability to lead a team is also an important part of being a member in TRU because it allows for a smooth operation of the team during high stress situations. Lastly, the ability to be a positive contributor of society is important because it puts into perspective the type of community you would be working in, allowing you to have a better connection with the people who you would be helping.

Becoming a member of the TRU would not only expand my knowledge of being a Trooper but also allow me to render aid to the people of San Andreas in a time of dire need. I believe that I have the skills, knowledge, and communication to be an effective team member of the TRU that is able to provide a unique outlook on situations that is not found in any other candidate. My experience as a Trooper with the San Andreas State Police has been amazing so far and I wan't to continue to prosper and grow. I'm hoping that the Tactical Response Unit will be that next step for me on my journey to being the best I can be. I want to be the change that helps the citizens of San Andreas.

Note: Due to school and other commitments, I will have limited time during the week to complete training. I hope that this is only a minor issue that will not disqualify me from being accepted as a member of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) of the San Andreas State Police.

Reason for application (300 Words):

I would like to join the Tactical Response Unit because of my experience With Bomb Disposal , Tactical Response , Hostage Rescue , And Marksman experience which i believe would come in handy within the TRU unit of the SASP.
I have role played Bomb Squad on our server many times , with and without admin approved and provided explosives , done raids on possible drug operations , and have knowledge and experience in a tactical background  .

I am hoping to become a Tactical Response member , so i can be a part of the war on drugs , crime and wrong doers in our state , to be part of an elite group that handles the worst of the worst in our state , be there when people need our help the most , help put an end to the drug epidemic that has flooded our streets.

My experience Comes from previous communities , both GTA and ARMA 3 .

I have experience with CQB also referred to as Close Quarters Combat ,  serving high class warrants for both searches and arrests , Also some experience in riot and crowd control , I do not currently hold an Aviation Certification , but am an avid recreational pilot and would be willing to apply with the Aviation Division as well to become a TRU pilot if that position became open.

I feel like i would be a good fit to the unit because the amount of time i can dedicate outside work , i work 40 plus hour weeks and i am still able to put in easily 20 plus hours a week , If not more depending on my schedule . The thing i wish to see out of TRU and myself joining is being able to do a variety of tasks , not just one thing , be a sniper , be part of a rescue team , and become a hostage and crisis negations operator if such a role becomes available .

Thank you for your time and consideration

Name: Josh Gray

Age (OOC): 16.5

Time in Service: 2.5 Years

Grade: Corporal (Previous First Sergeant)

Time in Grade: Over 2 Months.

Current Postings (Primary and Secondary): Patrol and none secondary.

Previous Postings: PatrolReason for application (300 Words):

I have real life tactical experience. I have trained with the National Guard, local SWAT Team, and Fugitive Recovery Agents learning and participating in Tactical Training. I feel that my real life experience can help other members in this division learn real Law Enforcement Tactics. I am familiar with weapons that are primarily used inside a tactical field such as M4's, Glocks, MP5's, M9 Beretta, 12 Gauge and others. I also participate in a psychology class which assist me with negotiating with different subjects such as EDP's, Suicidal's, and Hostage Situations. I also participated in a Joint Agency Narcotics Raid in real life providing scene security for my Auxiliary Police Unit. I feel like this field suits my skills well. This division has been a division I've been waiting on starting for a very long time! I am also interested in becoming and instructor for this division to share my tactical knowledge with other members inside of this division. As far as role-play in GTA I have role-played as a Tactical Unit previously before this division was created. I have experience in game as gearing up as a Tactical Personal and getting other members within the community geared up as tactical personal. I have previously taught classes in tactical positions within Highspeed-Gaming before and look forward to continuing in further and advanced classes to assist community members to receiving more achievements and certifications within the community. I have high expectations for this division and can see this going a long way within the community due to the amount of High Priority Calls we receive in game. This division will also extend the role-play environment by a great amount, and gain the interest of non members and get them into applying to the community. I will officially be a member of the United States Army in less than 2 months, and this division may teach me certain things to prepare me for the Army.

Reason for application (300 Words):

I think this is a great opportunity for everyone in the San Andreas State Police, and I honestly like the sound of it. I've been in a few situations where a little tactical awareness was required, however nothing on a large scale, ever since I was inducted into the State Police, I aimed to improve myself to perform my duties effectively without any sort of handicap from my side. Within seven months, I've learned to adapt, and if needed, improvise, even if I had to learn it the hard way. I have about three hunder hours in the rage with the AR-15, Glock 17 and the Remington 870, I consider myself proeficient in using those firearms. Took my time to train and learn about them since they're my field-issue equipment, becoming part of TRU will be an extension of my training and overal field efficiency. When it comes to outer experience, I've had tactical training on multiple Arma II or Arma III servers, on realism servers. I enjoyed those classes and field trainings, even if they took quite a lot of time, sometimes up to seven or eight hours. The most enjoyable game in this category was SWAT 4, something my friends and I loved to play day and night, whenever we had time for it. We could ace an entire mission and not fire a single bullet, however, the bloopers were the most fun out of it. To sum up this block of text, I want to join the TRU to learn more about police operations in the United States, that has been my general purpouse in High Speed ever since I joined. I'm currently a Police Student II within the Romanian Police, almost out of the training program. I like comparing our system to the system in the US, and joining TRU will allow me to study the special forces too.

Reason for application (300 Words):

I am putting this application in simply because joining the State Police`s Tactical Unit in my mind would be awesome. I have been on too many to count tactical units in the many role play communities I have been in. Although its different with SASP`s, I see that situations on the street especially with the newer civilians, cops, and CRs can get pretty hectic. Having a full time tactical element to patrol would be amazing. This would greatly increase our roleplay on the streets. Personally, I think I can contribute alot to a program like that, that is why my application has been put in. I love tactical roleplay and the very nature of Tac Teams in general. Most of all, I would like to learn more about tactical operations. The San Andreas State Police`s TRU team I feel like will be different.

One of the other reasons I am applying is because I feel like I have a little bit more experience than some other applicants. As of October 2017, I am a Cadet with a local first aid squad. What is this? A First Aid Squad is a service that provides BLS response in a certain area. In January of next year, I will be attending EMT school. So what? My experience comes from being in extremely stressful situations at a young age. Not every 17 year old is exposed to trauma victims.. The calm I bring to work is a calm I can bring to TRU. I really would love to work with this unit, not only for me but for our entire server. I am just so excited to see what TRU will bring to the community. Thanks for reading this and I hope you consider me.

Reason for application (300 Words): I have been waiting for long time for this division to fully form and become available for officers to join. Reason for my application is that the division requires a lot of loyal and dedicated people towards the law enforcement job, therefore I have fully decided to put an application for this specific division and there are reasons behind it. The crime statistics are on rise throughout the whole state, specifically major situations like hostage situations or robberies, even though state is filled with trained SASP officers, it's not enough in some cases, therefore I am volunteering to fill in those gaps by joining Tactical Response division. Since division offers special equipment, vehicles and dedicated training sessions directed towards the situations we will be dealing, it should be much easier to fill in gaps. I am interested in special responsibilities which this division offers, I feel like that both my moral and physical training will help me to accomplish everyday duties this job has to offer. I have been in San Andreas State Police for a long time, hence why I also have extensive knowledge and crucial set of skills which will help me and department in a long run. I can't say that I have knowledge in every subject, I hope that the upcoming training(s) with this division will deepen my knowledge in this exact field and equip me with extra set of skills. I am deeply interested in the teamwork, since that's what this division will be built on, I am looking further to meeting other people and getting trained with them. I am trying my best with my activity, even though some of my time is taken by criminal police academy classes, however I have decided to switch over to computer science so my schedule will be shifting within next several weeks as I change my university, nonetheless I am still pretty active and able to attend any training if they calculated for different time zones.

Reason for application (300 Words): I have long hoped for an official tactical division because of what it stands for. It’s a division that demands the most out of someone, when it comes to Courage, Respect, Integrity, Passion, Loyalty, and brotherhood. Every day I work in this department I bring the best I can, I strive to show others how to respond to different situations regardless of difficultly level. I show that respect, dedication, and hard work can get you far. I’m not afraid to step out of my comfort zone to help however I can. I’m no stranger to ensuring every. single. person. gets the chance they deserve at life be them criminals or not. I will take the time to talk someone down from ending their life, I will take the time to talk a hostage taker and resolve the situation peacefully. Should those avenues fail, I’m well versed in becoming tactical.

I’ve taken control of situations before when it comes to bomb disposal, breaching buildings, and close quarter combat. I know what actions would get me or my fellow officers killed and I avoid them as best I can, and even teach others to be more aware of the consequences of their actions.

Failure isn’t an option for me, I will always strive to improve myself every day. Mistakes costs lives and all life is precious to me regardless of who they are. I protect and serve every person, not just some of them.

I feel I would make a great addition to the TRU because of what I can bring to the table, and the fact I work well with other people regardless of their past. I have no issues following orders, and taking control of things when needed.

Reason for application (300 Words): Putting this application forward simply because I would love to join a division within the SASP, This tactical unit I feel is going to be perfect for my region of work. I feel that I am suitable for the TRU because I am totally comfortable with stressful situations and situations that may be different from any others, I have experience with negotiation , hostage situations and rescue missions. I strive for using my knowledge to help others in difficult situations,  I have no trouble following simple commands and working in a team, I have been with the SASP for a long time now and know who I am comfortable working with. Joining the TRU would be awesome! Along with the specialised equipment we receive along with dedicated training I am more then willing to learn some new skills for my future to further me in this department. One of my strong points is improvising, standing on a situation and trying to handle it with care and as quickly as possible. I am loyal, trustworthing and a really hard worker. I have experience in this sort of field I have handled arrest warrants, drug seizes and hostage situations, I really want to better my tactical skills and joining this division will help me pursue that. I know I can bring alot to the table and thats why I feel that I would be perfect here.
